1949 Gibson ES-140 3/4 Sunburst
Here's a 1949/50 Gibson ES-140 3/4 size in Sunburst finish. Clean, extremely early example! 100% original. No breaks, cracks, repairs. The guitar has some '49 appointments including solid shafts for the knobs, and a thinner side veneer on the headstock. Appointments slightly changed from Gibson in 1950. The guitar is super clean, especially for being from 1949! Playability is exceptional, with low action down the fretboard. The original frets have life and are in good shape as well. The original P-90 sounds incredible!! It's clear, full, and open. And the tuners/tuner buttons still work perfect. One of the best and certainly earliest we've ever seen! Case included...
