1970? The serial number pulled 1969, but there is a Norlin Era Label inside. Possibly a left over serial #?

ES-150D just traded by its Original Owner. He purchased the instrument at the start of his College Education and played it for a short while after his Graduation. He then lost interest in playing and closed the instrument in its case until recent when he decided to part ways with it. The instrument is free of repairs or cracks, and has stayed unmolested for the past 54 years.

Condition:
The 3 piece mahogany neck is straight and true with a dark fretboard and fully functional truss rod. There are several minor dings on the back of the neck when held under light. The fret wire is original and shows the start of minor divots forming on the first 6 frets. These can be crowned out and polished. That is how minor the divots are. The instrument plays perfectly free of buzzing or dead spots. The Original Double Ring Kluson Tuners are in place. One is visibly bent and another is slightly bent. Retro Repros are available in todays market if you feel the need to change them. All electronics and hardware are original. There is a scratch on the bottom side and when held under light there is some minor worming on the back, but not thru the lacquer. The original pickups are strong and vibrant while all the electronic work as they should. The Master Volume is a Blessing to have once you have your tone dialed in. The guitar weighs just 6 Lb.'s 11 Oz with a comfortable C neck profile. The case is Original Free of Mold, Mildew, Water Damage and Odors. The guitar shows no sign of lacquer checking, so we know this was stored in a climate controlled room.
