One of only 78 ES-150Ds made in Blonde in 1975. To boot, it was labeled inside from the factory with an ES-175D sticker.
I can't stop staring at this guitar! The aged blonde finish is just way too cool.
The neck on this one is worn to perfection, and the shape is sublime as well - a bit beefier than most 70's Gibson hollowbodies I've seen. It came to us not playing all that well, but it set up easily with perfect action after getting a new set of 10s.
The guitar is all original with no issues or apparent repairs. The frets show wear and were likely leveled, but there is plenty of life left. The truss rod was tested and has plenty of room for future adjustment.
Having a master volume on a Gibson is extremely handy. When you get that mid pickup position dialed in between the two pickups you can work the volume to the amp without having to mess with the two volume knobs. The mid position with the neck pickup backed off a bit gets such a great sound. I like starting off with that and the master on 6 or 7, then kicking it up to 10 to really drive the amp.
Includes a nice, non original hard case.
