1991 Gibson ES-165 Herb Ellis Sunburst
Here's a 1991 Gibson ES-165 Herb Ellis in Tobacco Sunburst finish. No breaks, cracks, repairs. This is an early, first year example, before 'Herb Ellis' was stenciled on the head stock! The guitar features beautiful figured maple top, back, and sides, mother of pearl parallelogram inlays, Grover tuners, 60's style trapeze tailpiece, Tunematic bridge, and a Gibson Pat Number stamped pickup in the neck position. The neck has a comfortable medium neck profile, and plays outstanding! Frets have good left as well. Only thing missing is the pickguard, which got taken off somewhere along the way to show its amazing top! Stunner of a guitar. OHSC included...
