1953 Gibson ES-175D Sunburst

Sunburst, in excellent condition, with Bigsby added long ago. We’ve said it before. 1953 is our favorite year neck shape. Like Goldilocks it feels just right, not too big and not too small with a very slight V up to the third fret and then a perfectly rounded C shape. A beautiful unbroken clean Jazz/Blues wonder. Currently set up with flat wounds for that authentic late 40’s early 50’s tone. This features a wide beveled pickguard, original frets, nut and tuners. The Bigsby is added with the classic Bigsby Authorized bridge for less friction than wood. The original bridge and base are in the case too. See our Facebook or YouTube videos on this guitar. Has great tone through an amp it really has teeth when turned up and a distinct smooth yet clear tone when the volume is backed off. We believe the wide border truss rod cover is a well done repro.
