1972 Gibson ES-175D Cherry Sunburst
Cherry Sunburst, VG++. Just out of our shop with a fresh refret and repaired braces. Yes, you’re welcome. Has the original embossed pickups that have the mid sixties humbucker tone with clear upper midrange that makes every note of the chord stand out. Also has the original wood bridge.
This guitar has had a headstock crack professionally repaired. It is hard to notice in the photos but it’s there. The tuners were replaced with lower mass mini Schallers that feel solid. Also some of the finish has been damaged by a rubber backed guitar strap left in the case. Note: rubber+lacquer+heat=sad.
Has a nice big neck and the finish is aging nicely into a sunset yellow. The whole guitar glows. A really great jazz/blues guitar. Comes with the original green lined hard case. Offered at a rare price.
