Here we have a 1958 Gibson ES-225T in truly excellent condition. One of the cleanest 50s Gibsons we’ve had in the shop. Some light hardly noticeable playwear and a few micro-dings that are hard to find, otherwise this one looks like it just arrived from the factory. All original and collector grade condition, but it’s such a nice sounding, great playing guitar that we can only hope it goes to someone who will play it and play it a lot. It deserves to be heard.
Basic Specs: Nickel Kluson Deluxe tuners. Comfortable 1 11/16 inch nut width. Mahogany neck with a 24.75 inch scale length. Neck depth of .88 inches at the first fret and 1.09 inches at the twelfth fret. Bound Brazilian Rosewood fingerboard with 20 frets. Original P-90 pickup. Original wraparound bridge and trapeze tailpiece. 5-ply pickguard. 2-ply truss rod cover. Vibrant two-tone Sunburst finish.
Such a great guitar, we’d love to keep it. But we’re in the business of selling guitars so our loss can be your gain. Comes with its original faux-Alligator case in good condition.
