Description

1960 ES-330TDN. These don't come up very often but if you want a blonde ES and you don't want to mortgage the house, then a 330 is your best choice (an ES-225 is also a good choice but I don't have one at the moment). This a fairly early 60-still has the 59 knobs but has the 60 neck profile. It's slim and wide. Nut width is 1 11/16". Depth at the first fret is .80". Twelfth fret is .88". P90's sound excellent and the guitar is super resonant (most 330's are). Condition is a solid 9/10 with two relatively small issues. The pickguard isn't original but it's a very high end custom made, bound tortoise that looks great on this guitar. I am looking for a vintage guard for it and will swap that in once I find it (but I'd want to keep the tortoise). I have a repro black guard that I will include. The other issue is a hole from an extra strap pin. ES-330's did not come from the factory with an upper strap pin. Most folks had one installed at the heel; some folks had it installed on the bass side horn. This had it on the horn and somebody decided to move it. The hole is properly filled and isn't particularly noticeable. But it's there and it's priced in. Guitar has been pro re-fretted. Case is the original (or correct-no way to know for sure) brown Gibson badged case in very good condition. The last photo shows a black pickguard (repro).
