1964 Gibson ES-335 Cherry Red

For sale is a 1964 ES 335. The "Bigsby" model ES 335 is very cool but I took it off as prefer stop tail. Nice wide fat neck, Nichel hardware, early pat numbered pickups, original case..

The guitar is all original except for perfect new frets and the back of the neck has been clear coated.

At one point the guitar had a Roland synth pickup over the bridge? Attached with four tiny screws and it is gone and barely noticeable. What is noticeable is this has been my personal "squeeze" and one of the best ones out there! Why would anyone play a Les Paul with these available?

There is typical play wear and checking but never a repair. Overall the guitar is in excellent shape.

It only weighs 7 lbs. EVEN! The lighter the guitar, the better the wood, the better the tone and sustain. FACT JACK....

The pickup resistance - Neck: 7.68k, Bridge 7.55k.
