1965 Gibson ES-335 Cherry Sunburst, Near Mint, Original Hard, $7,500.00

This one didn't get played much. The original owner passed away years ago and the family just decided to sell it. It's a mid year 65 cherry burst with all chrome parts-early for that configuration but you know about consistency at Gibson in the 60's. The neck starts pretty small (.81" at the first) but gets into 59 territory by the twelfth at nearly a full inch. The nut is transitional just over 1 9/16" but if you can play the narrower nut 335's, you get to save a few thousand dollars. If this was a big neck you be looking at 9 grand. Pre T-tops for sure-still sealed. No player wear anywhere and just two tiny dings on the back and not much else to talk about. Original black Gibson badged case.
