This 1997 Gibson ES-335 is a tasty one! Look at that one-piece flamed lam on the top and back. Simply gorgeous.
The guitar shows a bit of authentic, player's wear. In particular, there is a spot through the finish on the back. The last owner gigged this guitar, but he took care of it as well. The front of the guitar shows a little darkening from an arm on the bass side lower bout. It just adds to the killer look of the piece.
The one change is found in the pickups. A 2000's era set of Seymour Duncan Seth Lovers were installed, using the original pickup covers. The original pickups are in the original case. If the next owner wants us to change the pickups back we can do so before shipping. We would keep the Duncans to cover the labor cost.
There are no other repairs, changes or issues with the guitar.
The frets show a little light pitting, but I would wait to level them as this does not affect playability at this time, and it will be quite a while before a fret level is needed. The frets do not appear to have been leveled in the past, so there is plenty of room for future work.
The neck is straight and the truss rod was checked to make sure there is room for future adjustment.
