This is truly a one-of-a-kind offering from the Gibson Custom Shop! The only aged ES-335 to come from the Memphis Custom Shop, this guitar features a stunning, highly figured flame-maple top with a baked maple center block, making this an extremely resonant semi-hollow guitar. The checking and aging on this guitar are part of the evolution of what is now known as the "Murphy Lab", making this an important guitar in the history of the Custom Shop. Purchased from a Gibson employee, this guitar has never been offered to the public. Prototype guitars from the custom shop rarely appear for sale, and this is one of the most exceptional Memphis ES guitars we've seen!
