Description

Here's a 1972 Gibson ES-335 in Natural finish. Unicorn of a guitar here! According to the Gibson Shipment Totals book, there's no record of a Natural 335 being shipping in 1972! With its "CUSTOM" truss rod cover, and the label reading "ES-335TDN," this must've been a special order! The body of the guitar is clean and in great shape, with beautiful Birdseye on the back. It has a headstock repair (see pic's, typical fracture repair at the volute, headstock never off the neck), which has been professionally repaired and is completely structurally sound. At one point the guitar had Grovers, but the original tuners are back on. Playability is exceptional, with fast playing low action down the fingerboard. It's been re-fretted (great re-fret), so it's good to go for the long haul! Can't stress how great it plays. Both original embossed covered Pat No Stamped pickups sound fantastic!! Both are strong, responsive, and clear. The guitar even sounds great acoustic Very special guitar! HSC included...
