2001 Gibson CS-336 Custom Shop Custom "Life on the Road"
Here is a spectacular original 2001 Gibson Custom Shop CS-336 in original custom "Life on the Road" finish. Finish documents what it's like to start a band and spend your "life on the road." Super cool artwork by a special artist, one who we are having trouble identifying. We reached out to Gibson and they said the guitar was original, and they sent a few of these out to various artists to be painted and sold at charity auctions. This is a particularly cool and unique example of that.
If anyone out there knows who did this finish, please let us know! We have included a photo with his signature.
Not only does it look crazy cool, it sounds and plays fantastic, too!
This is from the first year of the CS-336 line, with a "tonally carved" body that is made from carving the back, sides and center block out of one piece of mahogany and then fitting it with a carved maple top.
Comes with original Custom Shop hardshell case, too.

We use UPS ground for shipping. We can work out overnight shipping on a case by case basis. Buyer pays all shipping charges.
All Sales Final. The only exception is internet sales. Please make sure you get an in-hand description for guitars purchased via the internet. 24 hour approval period on internet sales. After 24 hours, no returns. Buyer assumes all shipping charges. If we agree to a return, as in an internet sale, instruments must be returned in the condition they were sent. Shipping costs will be deducted from the return, and buyer will assume these costs. If we accept a return there will also be a 5% re-stocking fee. All merchandise sold is in used - as is condition. All sales final. If there is an exception made on any return over 24 hours, there will be a 15% re-stocking fee to the customer. No returns whatsoever on guitar parts.
