Super rare all original 1962 Gibson ES-345 TDC Stereo semi hollow special ordered with nickel hardware instead of the usual gold, looks fantastic with nickel parts and as time goes by they wear much better. Typically this model would have gold hardware, as most enthusiasts know however, Gibson’s gold plating was very thin and wore off easily with normal usage. No modifications or repairs, a perfectly straight neck with a working truss rod. All original electronics, factory wired stereo, early patent number Humbucking pickups with unmolested nickel covers, all factory solder joints intact. Thin neck with stock large frets, no fret wear only minor usage wear present in the form of some small superficial scratches, and a few small dings, one on the upper portion of the back of the neck. Easily near mint all original, certainly one of the best examples available for sale now. Beautiful glossy clean unfaded cherry finnish, no weather checking or other cosmetic issues, very clean as new appearance. As with many near mint instruments this one comes with the original Gibson Stereo Varitone instruction sheet, the Tune-O-Matic instruction sheet and the PAF instructions, all of which are folded up in the original manila envelope as well as the original black, large pebble hard shell case with yellow interior. A fantastic collectors grade investment and a great instrument, a must for any strunged arsenal where a stereo application may be needed. Only $12500. Thanks VGA

We ship USPS Priority and Fed Ex Ground next business day, all instruments are carefully packed utilizing new shipping materials, all instruments are insured by Heritage Insurance. All parcels are flat rate shipped and are the same price for all buyers in the domestic USA, international shipping is also flat rate for anywhere in the world. The price is based on the cost of new shipping materials, boxes, bubble wrap, tape and labor and has nothing to do with where you are or your ability to pick it up in person. It is not in our business model to offer in person demonstrations of instruments or in person pickup, both of these things take an employee and extra time. If you have a limit as to what you want to spend on shipping please factor this into you instrument offer as we accept reasonable offers on most items. If an item doesn’t allow a lower offer it’s because it’s already been discounted and already at its lowest price. We recommend that you don’t chose an instrument based on shipping cost alone as there are more important issues all of which we have well covered. I might point out that all of our guitars come with professional detailing and set up, this has real value and keeps one from getting inferior work from an unqualified retail establishment. Thanks for your understanding. John Russell Nelson owner VGA Vintage Gear America
