Description

How cool is this original 1965 Gibson ES-345 XII in Sunburst with a factory installed large crown inlay on the headstock?! This is the first ES-345-XII we’ve seen, as they normally used ES-335 specs with the 12-string configuration. The original owner might’ve figured the bigger headstock needed larger ornamentation, and the large crown definitely stands out more than the standard sized crown inlay! As far as twelve strings go, this has to be one of the most well-rounded and full sounding of the bunch, with each note having a beautiful clarity. The neck fills the palm nicely, and the string spacing is perfectly set for easy playing and precise picking. This guitar was well maintained and most likely spent most of its life stored in its case or on a guitar stand, as evidenced by the mild impression from a stand on the neck.

Overall Condition: 9, light surface scratches and impression from old guitar stand
