This ES is a beautifully aged beauty that has retained all of its original parts as well as the original, gold-lined hardshell case.

The guitar has seen some play time, which isn't really a bad thing at all! The original frets received a crown and polish in our shop as we evaluated the guitar and gave it a setup with new 10 gauge strings.

I noticed that the original switch has been messed with a touch while going over the guitar. I can't really say what it is they did, but there appear to be a couple of slices across the threaded body of the switch. You have to zoom in on the pic to see it. The switch works perfectly. Perhaps it had frozen at some point?

The guitar is wired for stereo and does not include a cable. It looks like someone might have tried to start a mono wiring mod, but everything works as it should and all the original pots and patent sticker pickups are there.

The guitar plays with ultra low action and the truss rod was checked to make sure there is room for future neck relief adjustments.

No neck breaks.

The original nut seems to have been slightly shimmed.
