1959 Gibson ES-355 Mono Black, Excellent, Original Hard, $12,000.00

Release your inner Keith Richards (sort of). This 59 355 was sunburst when I first got it but was red when it left the factory. It was a also a factory stop tail which is super rare. I sold it last year when it was sunburst and the new owner sent it to Historic Makeovers to be refinished in black. Then he traded it back to me on a 335. Once the finish was stripped, we could see that it never had a Bigsby but it had a small smile crack that was properly repaired. This has the early 59 neck. The guitar is currently set up with nickel repro parts but I can put gold vintage parts on it or I will sell it as a husk (body and neck). An original 59 mono stop tail 355 is a $40,000+ guitar but that ship has sailed. I think it's worth $11K as is with the repro parts. Pickups are Throbaks.
