1959 Gibson ES-355 Mono Red Stop tail

Super rare ES-355. There were only 177 mono 1959 ES-355's. Of that 177, only three were stop tails. All 355's came with Bigsby's in 1959 and stops had to be special ordered. The mono circuit is identical to a 335. Considering the fact that 59 ES-335 stop tails (which are common) are pushing $70,000, 355 monos are getting to be a serious bargain. This guitar has a transitional neck (355's went to the slimmer necks pretty early in 59). Original PAFs and all original. This is a killer player and has a gorgeous watermelon red finish. Cool headstock stinger. Don't snooze. I know where one of the other two lives and it won't be coming on the market any time soon. Original brown with pink case.
