1952 Gibson ES-5 "Blonde"

From the personal collection of our friend Joe Bonamassa! This 1952 Gibson ES-5 features one of the most beautifully figured flame maple bodies we've seen! With a carved top and back, as well as maple sides, this guitar is absolutely covered in quilted flame maple, accented by the beautiful and rare natural "Blonde" finish! The three original P90 pickups deliver the great tones you hear on records by legends like T-bone Walker. A few modifications have been made to the wiring to allow for a traditional three way selector switch, master tone, and separate volume controls for each pickup. The guitar also features a replacement bridge, tailpiece, and newer knobs. A fantastic vintage archtop free from any breaks or repairs straight from one of the most famous guitar collections of all time!
