1995 Gibson J-180 Everly Brothers in ebony finish with white double binding in excellent condition. The guitar is all original aside from having a K & K pickup installed and a new bone saddle. Aside from a handful of finish cracks and two small repaired cracks near the very top of the soundhole, the guitar is extremely clean. It has a spruce top, maple back, sides, and neck, a bound rosewood fingerboard, and a bound headstock. This version adopts the rosewood mustache pin bridge more commonly found on the J-200 as opposed to the top loaded bridges found on the original 60’s versions. The iconic mother of pearl star inlays are abundant and featured on the headstock and fingerboard as well as the bridge. Famously favored by players such as Tom Petty, this is an eye-catching, bold sounding guitar. The neck measures 1 11/16” at the nut and has a depth of 0.87” at the first fret and 0.96” at the 12th fret. The guitar has a 24 ¾” scale and weighs 5.00 lbs. It comes with the original hardshell case.
