Here's a real unique and original 1985 Gibson Explorer.
Guitar has had several upgrades / changes. The finish has been stripped on the front, on the back a USA flag has been constructed. The pickups have been changed to a Seymour Duncan and a Dimarzio. The bridge has been changed to a vintage type of Gibson tremolo. The knobs have been changed from a 4 knob configuration to a 3 knob configuration.
All these changes are way cool and the guitar plays great and pickups are screaming.
Neck is straight and plays great all the way up and down. Has a classic vintage Gibson 1980s neck profile. Frets are in good shape.
The back of the neck retains the original Red finish that this guitar was originally.
The American flag on the back is a piece of fine art and looks real cool.
While this guitar is more for the player than collector, get a cool 1980s Gibson Explorer for a nice price.
Comes with a good hard case, too.
