Gibson Explorer '76 Reissue Yamano Export 1996 Cherry w/ OHSC

This is a super cool '76 reissue Gibson Explorer from 1996! This one comes with paperwork indicating that it was a Yamano export guitar. These Yamano Gibsons are held in very high regard and were selected by Yamano Music, a distributer in Japan, for their top tier quality woods.

This guitar does show quite a bit of cosmetic wear from over the years that includes various scratches, scuffs, and dents throughout the body with chips located on the lower points. The finish along the back of the neck is also quite worn and the headstock shows additional dings and scratches. There is also an imprint from where there had once been a sticker placed on the back of the body. The hardware and pickups show quite a bit of tarnish from over time and the volume/tone knobs and pickup selector switch tip are scuffed. The nut and edges of the truss rod cover have also yellowed from over time. The frets are used and are starting to lift up particularly on the 20th and 21st frets on the high E side. The frets otherwise seem to play well along the rest of the neck. Despite the cosmetic wear, there is no cracks / breaks / repairs or anything like that, and this guitar is super solid!

The pickups include a set of Seymour Duncan humbuckers and the strap buttons have been replaced. This guitar otherwise appears to be original.

Includes the pictured OHSC and case candy. The latch with the lock on it appears to be broken and is being held together by tape.
