Description

This 1965 Gibson Firebird III in its original Cardinal Red finish features a lefty, or “Non-Reverse” neck! Towards the end of 1965, Gibson was trying to use up their remaining parts from the Reverse Firebird model in preparation for the Non-Reverse line that year. There were a few leftover lefty neck blanks for Gibson to make into right-handed guitars with the quirk of having the headstock face the opposite way! This one sports a fresh nut and new frets to ensure it’s playing great for years to come. There are not many out there with this particular feature, making this one a really special piece!

Overall Condition: 7.5, weather checking, play wear, edgewear, and patina on both finish and metal components throughout
