Description

Vintage original circa 1966 Gibson Firebird III in a stunning white re-finish.

Features two vintage patent sticker mini humbuckers from the 1960s and one 1970s Dimarzio Super Distortion in the bridge position. The vintage Gibson patent sticker mini humbuckers are remarkably warm and full of vintage tone.. There is an added tap switch which makes the Super Distortion a single coil making the guitar remarkably versatile with lots of different tones. Electronics are clean and work great. Pots are dated the 52nd week of
'65.

Neck is straight and it's playing fantastic with no buzz or issues. Has the normal slim neck profile so common for this era. Frets are in good shape and there are added parallelograms to the fretboard....the work was very professionally done.

No cracks or breaks. The re-finish in White was done remarkably well and it has nice age to it. They finished over the serial number so you can't really see it, but the guitar is original and all features and pots date the guitar to circa 1966.

Guitar is light and resonant and just sounds and plays incredible. Just set up here at the shop so she's ready to roll!

Comes with a good hard case, too.
