1980 Gibson Flying V. This guitar was refinished in black. It was referetted for maximum playabilty. It has an upgraded Tone Pros tailpiece and bridge for perfect intonationa and tuning stabilty. Repro Chandler guard to accomidate the tone pros bridge. And a pair of Bareknuckle humbuckers. It is a perfect guiatr for the Metallica fan. Kirk played these in the early days when Metallica was cutting there teeth on the metal circuit. This is a mean sounding guitar. It has a agressive growl through a Marshall and a tight thump through a Boogie. It plays excellent and stays in tune with a good thrashing. Killer axe for that metal you want to grind. Comes with origial case.
