Here's a 1981 Gibson Flying V in rare factory Black finish. 100% original example! No breaks, cracks, repairs. The original pots actually date to 1978! We can trace this back to the original owner, who purchased it brand new in 1981 in New York City. Back in the day he put some tape on that you can still see on the front. It basically blended into the finish....and looks pretty damn cool if you ask us! And to match the vibe of the guitar, the original hard shell case is covered in old stickers. Everything just screams NYC. The guitar itself couldn't play and sound any better! It's light weight, and extremely resonant. The neck has a medium C style profile, and plays smooth and fast. Slinky low action from to bottom. Frets have good life. It has two KILLER sounding original embossed Pat Number Pickups are full of life. They sound great clean and/or dirty with huge sustain. This thing is 100% rock n roll and ready to make new memories...
