2012 Gibson Flying V 67 Reissue Cherry

Excellent condition featuring, two piece mahogany V shaped body, large multi-ply black and white plastic beveled edge pickguard, two Gibson humbucking pickups with exposed double black bobbins, two volume controls and one tone control with black plastic reflector top knobs, three way pickup selector switch with white plastic switch tip, stop tailpiece and and Nashville tune-o-matic bridge with six individual steel saddles and two height adjusting thumb wheel screws, set mahogany neck, rosewood fingerboard with pearloid dot inlays starting at the third fret, pointed Gibson Flying V peghead shape with black peghead face, multi-ply black and white plastic truss rod cover with chrome Gibson logo, three per side individual Gibson Deluxe tuning machines with green plastic keystone tuning buttons, serial number, year built and Made In USA impressed into the back of the peghead, two metal strap buttons, chrome plated metal hardware, gloss cherry finish and original Gibson hard shell Flying V case with black Tolex covering and white plush interior. This guitar weighs 7lb 2oz.

This 2012 Gibson Flying V 67 Reissue is in excellent cosmetic condition. This instrument shows very little signs of play wear throughout including two very small dings on the body edge that I have photographed, some faint pick scratches on the pickguard, some swirl marks around the strap button from a strap and some very small wear spots on each “point” of the body from sitting on a stand. In other respects, this Flying V is in outstanding shape and appears to have been well cared for. This guitar has a medium to thin neck profile that is nice and rounded with a 1 11/16” nut width. This neck feels superb and is very easy and comfortable to play. The frets show virtually no signs of play wear and this guitar plays exceptional up and down the fingerboard with great action and intonation. All the electronics are original, untouched and in perfect working order. The pickups (500T bridge, 496R neck) in this instrument sound excellent and have a very aggressive yet woody tone with plenty of articulation. This guitar is well suited for any type of rock, rhythm or blues. This Flying V is housed in its original hard shell case for safe travels and includes its original paperwork. If you are after a Gibson Flying V, this one is top notch.
