Check out this well-preserved 1955 Gibson GA-5 “Les Paul Junior” amp! As you might’ve guessed, the GA-5 was released alongside the introduction of the Les Paul Junior model and was also marketed as a student model to complement this new guitar line. There’s some great tone in this little 5-watt amp, and it’s really similar to the Fender Champ. This amp really sings after the tubes have been warmed up and the volume turned up! This small oval speaker gives you that classic, buzzy radio tone. Given that this guitar retains its original two-prong plug, it can be a bit finicky at first, and we are leaving the decision to convert it to a three-prong cord to the next owner!
Overall Condition: 9.5, light patina
