PROJECT 1978 Gibson Grabber G-3 Fretless Electric Bass Guitar in Natural

1978 Gibson G3 Grabber Bass Project!

Cool Project bass for someone. 1970's Gibson G-3 bass. The bass does currently play, but only one pickup is working currently. The pickups are from an earlier model. The body laminations were reglued in the past. Original bridge has been replaced by one that doesn’t allow the strings to pass through body. There is one original Gibson tuner, the remaining three are schaller. The frets have been removed and the slots filled. Fingerboard has a light coat of marine epoxy. Very effective!
The pickup selection switch is dodgy. I’m not sure if it’s the neck pickup, the switch, or the soldering/wiring, but the neck pickup and bridge pickups are not working. This will be an as-is sale due to the project status. No case, but will be packed well.
