1995 Gibson Herb Ellis ES-165 "Sunburst"

A stellar sounding ES-165 guitar designed for Jazz great Herb Ellis. Similar in design to the popular ES-175, this guitar features a 16" wide body with a single Florentine cutaway, beautifully figured, flame maple top, and a single neck position humbucker with gold hardware. A great choice for any Jazz player, this guitar also sounds great for raunchy blues and rock n roll styles. It includes the original Gibson hardshell case and the original paperwork. A rare find in original condition.
