It has an impressive top finish in a sweet honey-like color,
Some pieces faded to this color in 1960, when Hummingbird was born.
The now standard medium scale, fixed bridge saddle. The pickguard is a late 1960s style yellow and white design.
The overall nuance of the sound is soft and sweet, and yet it sounds pristine, bright, and clear with light picking.
