It has an impressive honey sweet colored top finish,
Some pieces faded to this color in 1960, when Hummingbird was born.

The now standard medium scale, fixed bridge saddle. The pickguard is a late 1960s style yellow and white design.

The overall nuance of the sound is soft and sweet, and yet it is bright and clear with light picking.

It seems to fit well with singing, so it is perfect for storytelling.
