Gibson 1989 J-180 Everly Brothers
This is the signature J-180 model of the Everly Brothers, a country unit formed by brothers Don Everly and Phil Everly.
The body is a jumbo type, slightly smaller than the J-200, and has a distinctive signature look with an ebony finish, tortoiseshell double pickguard and star-shaped inlays.
The pickup is an L.R.Baggs Amthem SL.
There are numerous areas that have been touched up, mainly to the head, neck heel, neck grip, and body sides, and the entire piece has been over-lacquered.
There are several scratches and tiny dents on the body top, several pockmarks and scratches on the body back, some tiny dents and scratches on the body sides, several tiny dents on the back of the neck and neck binding area, and a few dents on the head.
There are no dents in the frets, about 70% remaining, and the neck and truss rod are in good condition.
