1956 Gibson J-185 Natural, Excellent, Original Hard, $16,000.00

From 1956 and oh so blonde, rare as it gets in a 1950s Gibson. Never messed with at all, at all, at all. No cracks, no repairs, no neck reset, no saddle trim, no nothin, never needed a dang thing, ever. Frets original and almost like new, cosmetic condition at least an 8.5 and plays like a total champ, perfect, and sounds like the very best of 'em I ever heard in all my fifty years in this business. Just plain unmolested and fabulous. I see them offered with only a neck reset, or only questionable finish, or only refretted, or more likely all or almost all of the above, but I haven't seen one this great since at least 1971.
