Now available on consignment, a 1961 Gibson J-200 in its original blonde finish!
This is a great and well played example of an early 60s Gibson J-200 still featuring the fixed saddle (before the abr-1), and an 'A' prefix serial number.
Work to the guitar includes:
A professional refret some time ago with vintage correct size fret wire.
The saddle has been shaved down, as well as the slots to the bridge pins. The guitar plays well as-is with a low action.
There is a small repaired crack between the fingerboard and the pickguard, and another below the pickguard.
Otherwise this guitar is in solid condition for over 60 years old, still retaining its original blonde finish without any touchup/overspray, and its original stinger on the back of the headstock.
A great playing and sounding original 1960s Gibson J-200! Includes a quality hardshell case.
