1944 Gibson J-45 Maple in good condition. This Gibson is all original, has playwear throughout, and has one professionally repaired top crack on the lower bout that has been glued and cleated. This J-45 was constructed with a spruce top, maple back and sides, a 5 piece maple neck with a red gumwood fingerboard, and a Brazilian rosewood bridge. The neck has a width of 1 3/4” at the nut, a depth of 0.93” deep at the first fret, and a depth of 1.05” at the tenth fret. The guitar has a 24 3/4” scale and weighs 4.92 lbs. The rare combination of a maple neck and maple body on a banner J-45 gives this guitar a unique tone that is well balanced, articulate, and excels when strummed with a flatpick. Comes with a hardshell case.
