2021 Gibson J-45 Studio Rosewood
Description
Summary: This unique Gibson J-45 Studio was hand-built using rosewood back and sides with a Sitka spruce top. The slim body depth allows for increased comfort underarm, and the flatter fingerboard allows finer playability. This J-45 comes equipped an active under-saddle piezo pickup for easy studio quality plug and play.
Body: Rosewood back/sides with a Sitka Spruce top finished in a gloss nitrocellulose lacquer Rosewood Burst, traditional hand scalloped X-bracing.
Neck: Mahogany with a Rosewood fingerboard, 24.75” scale length, 1.724” nut width, 16” radius, Tusq nut, Compound Dovetail Neck-to-body neck joint, Mother-of-pearl Dot inlays.
Pickups/Hardware: Grover Rotomatic tuning keys, Active Under-saddle Piezo Pickup, Soundhole Mounted controls, 1/4" Endpin Jack, replacement pickguard.
Cosmetics: This guitar is in excellent condition and shows very little signs of use. It plays and sounds fantastic.
Playability: Our in-house guitar tech has inspected, setup, and restrung this instrument with a new set of strings. The neck is straight, the truss rod is fully functional, and the action has been setup low and comfortable. The frets are in great shape with no major grooves or divots from use and it plays beautifully up and down the fretboard with no dead spots or choking out.
Modifications: The pickguard has been changed to a wood patterned pickguard.
