1980 Gibson Johnny Smith Pickup Cover Gold, Mint

Far as I know, don’t nobody make replicas of these, nohow, or if they do they’re cheap imports and I still haven’t seen any available. These came to me direct form Gibson, maybe 20-30-40 years ago and remain untouched, put away all this time. Made for the Johnny Smith pickup, which is a Mini-[Humbucker, to be mounted as a floating pickup from the pickguard of an arch-top guitar, originally of course the famous carved-top Gibson Johnny Smith model. The two holes in the bracket are threaded for what looks to me like a 6-32 thread (American size! Yes!). Cover should fit any standard Mini-Humbucker.
