Description

Here is a Kalamazoo KB-1 Bass which was Gibson's 1960s Student Model Bass. They feature a Gibson EBO/EB2 Bass Neck Pickup and electronics in a Fender Inspired Offset body. 30 1/2" Scale, Red Finish, Rosewood Fingerboard, and 6 Digit Gibson Serial Number. Good Vintage Condition displaying lots of nicks, dings, and play wear. Locking bridge studs have been installed which is a must for these basses to cut down on the bridge upward tilt. Relocated Strap Buttons, Newer knobs, Shrunken Pickguard, and one replaced fingerboard inlay. A previous owner put cutouts in the body for the ball ends of the strings to make restringing easier. A fun affordable 1960s Gibson Bass with the original thumping "Mudbucker" Pickup.
