It's Captain Kirk! No, not THAT Captain Kirk--it's "Captain" Kirk Douglas, guitarist of The Roots, house band on Jimmy Fallon's Tonight Show. This is Kirk's signature guitar from Gibson. The Inverness Green color is beautiful, but it's the cool feature set that makes this guitar a true cut above the rest. All three volume pots have push/pull coil splitting, plus there's a Master Volume on the pickguard. The Lyre Vibrola tailpiece has been factory-etched with crossed Roses behind the lyre as well as the moniker, "Captain." Slim Taper neck and medium jumbo frets. What a sweet signature model. Set up in-house by our esteemed Guitar Tech and playing beautifully. Comes with its original hard shell case. These are hard to find, so you may want to grab this one while you can.
