Description

Here we have a 1930s Gibson L-00 12 fret model with its original white pickguard. The guitar has a lot of basic playwear and some repaired top cracks, but it’s structurally sound and it looks absolutely wonderful. Every early L-00 we’ve played sounds great, but there’s something special about the sound of a 12 fret model.

Original Brass 3-on-a-plate tuners with newer buttons. Very comfortable 1 3/4 inch nut. Mahogany neck with a 24.75 inch scale length. Neck depth of .85 inches at the first fret and .95 inches at the twelfth fret. Bound Rosewood fingerboard with 22 frets and a 12 inch radius. The fingerboard has a factory Maple shim beneath the Rosewood fingerboard. Replaced bridge and compensated saddle. Cleated top cracks. Rare white pickguard. Silk screened headstock logo.

If you love small-bodied Gibsons from the 30s, don’t let this one get away. Comes with a quality modern hardshell case for protection and portability.
