Freshly set up in-house by our esteemed Guitar Tech, who also installed a new wiring harness, Mojo pots, and Orange Drop caps, and cleaned up all the messy work done by a previous owner so everything is totally ship shape in the control cavity now. This is a super interesting guitar and it plays and sounds marvelous. It has a rare factory-original 7.25" radius and original frets. Also has its original tuners, nut, and tailpiece but pretty much everything else has been updated including newer PAF-style pickups with tortoise surrounds, new wiring as noted above, and a refinished body. The end result is an irresistibly quirky and great performing guitar that has quickly become a shop favorite.
In Good "modified" condition with considerable wear and tear, including dings, chips, scratches, finish checking, and hardwear tarnish. Comes with its original hard shell case which is missing its handle but still a nice to have with the guitar. You won't see another L-5S like this one, so if you're thinking this little gem might be for you, better make your move. Please feel free to call us in the shop for an in-hand description and to answer any questions you may have. See below for more details and specifications.

NOTE TO OUR VALUED CUSTOMERS:
We want you to be happy with your purchase and we try to represent the condition of all used and vintage products as accurately as possible in our listings. Every used guitar shows some signs of play wear and vintage models even more so. We call out all areas of damage or unusual wear, and describe the overall condition based upon what is "normal" for the age of the instrument. Expect to see minor dings, finish checking, or other evidence of normal use and aging which may not be captured by photography or explicitly mentioned in the listing.
We recognize that everyone has their own personal standard of what constitutes acceptable wear and tear. If play wear is especially critical for you, please contact us at the Shop for a complete in-hand description and to answer any questions you may have. Your satisfaction is of paramount importance to us.
