Here's a 1946 Gibson L5 in Sunburst finish. Clean, all original archtop! As fine of an example that you'll ever see! This is one of the last few pre-A serial number models. The guitar plays like butter, and sounds beautiful. Solid Spruce top, stunning flame Maple neck with a Walnut center stripe, more stunning Maple on the back and sides with Birdseye, Rosewood fingerboard, with a Brazilian Rosewood bridge. The neck has a comfortable full C profile, with exceptional playability. The action is consistently low down the fingerboard, with plenty of room in the bridge to go down for future adjustments.
