1960 Gibson Les Paul Standard Sunburst Solid Body Electric Guitar, Serial #0 8679. The 1960 Gibson Les Paul Standard is one of the most iconic and collectible guitars ever produced, representing the final year of the legendary "Burst" models before the Les Paul was discontinued in favor of the SG shape. This is a very nice 1960 Gibson Les Paul Standard "Burst", featuring a higher serial number but still retaining a 1959-style finish, which appears to be correct. Some minor component changes and wear are present, but the guitar largely retains its original character. The neck pickup ring has been replaced, though the broken original is included. Similarly, the jack plate has been replaced, with the broken original also included. The pickguard and bracket are currently stored in the case pocket. There is an extra hole on the side where the pickguard bracket was mounted. The original frets show moderate wear but remain very playable. This Les Paul comes housed in its original 5-latch hard case, preserving its vintage authenticity. 8.3lbs. Original hard case included. Condition: Very Good.
