1958 Gibson Les Paul Standard!
This Burst has been very well documented since the late 60's and will be featured in the upcoming Burst Believer's 6.
Known as the Amsterdam Burst this instrument was partially restored a few years back by Florian Jager of Bavarian Makeovers in German. The face & back have been refinished to a luscious dark burst!
The Neck, Serial Number and Headstock remain factory, which to us is very important.
It is lightweight @ 8.6 lbs, has all original and or 58 correct parts including a factory sealed set of PAF pickups, 58 pots & harness, large hole D-Stamped tuners, short seam stop-tail, ABR-1 with milled saddles. All of the plastics (pick-guard, pickup surrounds, plates and tip) are also either original to the guitar and or 1958 correct.
This is a very lively Burst that plays incredibly well with low action and a nice medium round neck with slight shoulders. .85 - .96
This is without a doubt the best, most complete, "entry level" Burst you could hope to find for under 200k...
Accompanied by an original 4 latch brown lifton case in excellent condition.
Bank wire and check are the preferred method of payment. Invoices can be sent to use credit cards additional fees may apply.
Overnight shipping after payment is received is my preference. There are always exceptions so shipping will be discussed on a case by case basis.
Accurate descriptions, photographs and conversation before a sale is imparitive to minimize any potential returns. Vintage guitars don't like being shipped back and forth. An authentication period can be granted and will be discussed and evaluated on a case by case basis.
