Confirmed by Gibson this is a 2008 1960 Reissue based on the 1960 Les Paul featured on page 120 in "The Beauty of the Burst". It was a limited run for the Big Box Retailer most Love to Hate Guitar Center. From the moment you pick this Lester up you just know you are holding a Special One regardless of what retailer had the run made.
We just had the frets leveled, crowned and polished by Phil D'Angelo. Phil is one of the Best on the East Coast. He learned his craft from Tommy Doyle. You will not be disappointed. We had Phil remove the Fake Gibson Bumble Bee Caps to be replaced with Emerson Custom 0.47 Oil Caps.
The integrity of the instrument is 100% spot on. There is some worming on the back, but not through the finish. It all compliments the Aged Lemon Burst VOS Finish and Hardware perfectly.
