Description
Summary: The Gibson Les Paul Classic combines the early 60's style Les Paul model with some functional and time-tested modifications. As expected, the LP Classic is crafted with a mahogany back and maple top coupled with a slim taper mahogany neck and bound, rosewood fingerboard. BurstBucker 61R & 61T zebra, open-coil pickups provide classic Gibson tones from the era with a bit of extra punch thanks to the open coils. The control assembly features 4 push-pull pots which provide choices of coil tapping, phase switching, and pure bypassing for functional and versatile sonic variety.
Body: Mahogany with a Maple top, Goldtop finish.
Neck: Mahogany with a Rosewood fingerboard, 24.75” scale length, 1.694” nut width, 22 frets, pearl trapezoidal inlays, slim taper profile.
Pickups/Hardware: Two Burstbucker pickups (61R & 61T), Grover tuning keys, ABR-1 Tune-O-Matic bridge, stopbar tailpiece, Gold Top Hats with Silver Reflector control knobs, cream pickguard/switch tip/pickup covers.
Cosmetics: This guitar is in excellent condition with very little signs of use. There is one pinhead size indentation on the top and a few tiny indentations on the back of the body. The back of the neck is clean, and the frets are in great shape.
Playability: Our in-house guitar tech has inspected, setup, and restrung this instrument with a new set of strings. The neck is straight, the truss rod is fully functional, and the action has been setup low and comfortable. The frets are in great shape with no major grooves or divots from use and it plays beautifully up and down the fretboard with no dead spots or choking out.
