The translucent colors on these guitars were hand-rubbed aniline dyed and would fade on the blue and green models. You’ve probably seen a root beer colored top with a blue back on websites or on Youtube. These didn’t leave the factory this way - these are in fact blue guitars that have fully faded to a brown top! It’s extremely rare to see one of these guitars with any blue left of the top, but here’s one.
