Description

Bay Area Vintage Guitars is proud to offer this fantastic 1959 Gibson Les Paul Custom Black Beauty.

1959 is widely considered to be the pinnacle year for Gibson’s mid-century solid body electric guitars, and this one is a rare, one-of-a-kind (without the Bigsby) black beauty and is in very nice condition that features an original black finish and a well-done refret with medium jumbo frets.

There are light nicks, dings, and scratches (mainly on the back) from 66 years of musical joy.

The three original PAF pickups have been wax-potted; the covers were removed and reinstalled (the PAF stickers are intact). The jack plate has been replaced, and the original wiring connects to mini Sprague capacitors.
